Update......Congratulations to all the grand prize winners of the Aviva Community Fund grant. Unfortunately, We Play for Shaye was not a grand prize winner but does receive $5,000 from Aviva for being a finalist. Finalists were based on votes and we couldn't have done it without you! We were the only Saskatchewan finalist. Thank you everyone! And remember the fundraising continues to help make Shaye Amundson field a reality. This will happen because we all Play for Shaye!

Great news! It looks like we're On to the next round... (unofficially)... congrats to the other finalists. With 600,000 votes in the community health 50,000+ category, we all got the word out on some amazing community initiatives! And in the end #WEPLAYFORSHAYE

Unofficially We Play For Shaye has finished 3rd out of 106 entries in the Community Health $50,000-$100,000 category for the Aviva Community Fund:
3rd... – Shaye – 104,549
4th – 103,020
5th – 102,791
6th – 96,763

This is absolutely mind-blowing and a true tribute to a daughter, teammate and friend Shaye Amundson! Thank you to everyone for their passion, perseverance and dedication over the past 18 days!
What this means is: unofficially we have finished in the top 5 and stand to receive a minimum $5,000! Next a panel of judges from Aviva Canada will go through the top 5 voter getters and score them against a set of criteria-it’s complicated!

Congratulations to Jessica’s House and Caleb’s Courage as the top two vote getters! Also to Ecole Quarterway Nature Inspired Play Place and Isabella Kasner Memorial Splash Pad and Ice Rink who pushed to the very end! All great projects as well.

The network of people who made this happen with voting across North America is mind boggling! Shaye Amundson Field remains the goal of the committee and we are confident it will happen.

Thank you so very much for all of your votes and as soon as we hear from Aviva we will be posting!
